Rudolph & Hellmann 2024 Sustainability Report

Our Journey to Net Zero and Beyond Committed to a greener, more responsible future 2024 was a landmark year for Rudolph and Hellmann, as we took bold steps towards sustainability, operational excellence, and growth. From achieving carbon neutrality at our head office to expanding our sector reach, we’ve made tangible progress in our commitment to a greener, more responsible future. Here’s a look at our key achievements and how we’re shaping the road ahead. Taking Responsibility: Reducing Our Carbon Impact This year, we completed our first full Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory , fully compliant with ISO 14064-1 . Understanding our emissions footprint is a crucial step towards meaningful action, and this inventory lays the foundation for our sustainability strategy. One of our proudest milestones is achieving carbon neutral operations at our head office, verified to PAS 2060 standards. By combining direct reductions with credible offsetting, we’ve ensured that our operations have a minimal impact on the environment. But we’re not stopping there. We have developed a Net Zero Pathway , creating our first Carbon Reduction Plan and formalising our commitment to reaching net zero emissions. This roadmap will guide us in further reducing our environmental footprint across all areas of our business. Driving Growth and Innovation This year has also been one of expansion and innovation. Our partnership with Jaguar Land Rover resulted in two new contracts, safeguarding over 350 jobs . Additionally, we played a crucial role in the production of over 1,500 EVs at our Oxford facility, supporting the transition to sustainable mobility. We are also embracing digital solutions, such as the implementation of LINDE Connect , a fleet management system designed to enhance the visibility and control of our MHE fleet. Furthermore, for the second year, we have disclosed our climate change and water security data to the CDP disclosure platform , demonstrating our transparency and commitment to sustainability. Looking ahead, we are actively exploring new sectors. In 2024, we began consultations with multiple NHS Trusts to understand their logistical challenges and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions. Additionally, we are expanding our expertise into the UK Aerospace sector , where we see opportunities to bring efficiency and sustainability to operational logistics. 4
