Rudolph & Hellmann 2024 Sustainability Report

Supporting Our Clients Partnering for a Sustainable Future At Rudolph and Hellmann, we understand that sustainability is a shared journey. Beyond our internal efforts, we’re committed to empowering our clients to achieve their own Net Zero goals. We believe that collaboration is key to creating a truly sustainable future. Our focus on improving efficiencies translates into tangible benefits for our clients, including reduced energy and resource consumption, streamlined processes, and access to crucial data for their own sustainability reporting. HowWe’re Making a Difference: We’re actively supporting our clients’ sustainability efforts in several key ways: l Optimised Stock Management: We’re improving stock management and warehousing processes to minimise over- ordering of parts, reducing waste and associated emissions. Efficient inventory control contributes directly to cost savings and a smaller environmental footprint. l Waste Reduction and Management: We’re working closely with clients to reduce waste production and enhance waste management processes. This includes implementing strategies for recycling, reuse, and responsible disposal, minimising environmental impact and maximising resource recovery. l EV Transition Support: We’re playing a vital role in supporting automotive manufacturers with the transition from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs). This includes optimising supply chains for EV components and developing safe storage and disposal solutions for batteries. We’re helping our clients navigate the complexities of this transition and accelerate the adoption of cleaner transportation. l Enhanced Health and Safety: We’re continuously improving health and safety practices to enhance employee well- being. A safe and healthy workforce is not only essential for ethical reasons but also contributes to increased productivity and reduced operational disruptions. l Advanced Fleet Management: The implementation of Linde Connect, our advanced fleet management system, is underway in 2024 and will be completed in 2025. This system will provide enhanced visibility and control over our MHE (Material Handling Equipment) fleet, optimising usage, reducing energy consumption, and improving overall efficiency. This translates into cost savings and environmental benefits for our clients. l Data-Driven Sustainability Reporting: We understand the importance of accurate data for sustainability reporting. We’re committed to providing our clients with the necessary quantitative data they need to track their own progress, measure their environmental impact, and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. We believe that access to reliable data is essential for informed decision-making and effective sustainability management. 26
