Rudolph & Hellmann 2024 Sustainability Report
Progress and Milestones We achieved this initial quantification in December 2021. The Emissions Monitoring System was then populated with available data from 2022. For our baseline year, we used 2023, as this was the first year we had a full set of data. This solid foundation allows us to accurately track our progress. A significant milestone was reached in March 2024, when we proudly announced that our Lichfield Head Office achieved carbon neutrality, compliant with PAS 2060, for the period of 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023. This demonstrates our commitment to tangible action. Our Operational Footprint It’s important to clarify the boundaries of our operational control. Heating and water usage within the warehouses we operate are typically managed by our clients, not Rudolph and Hellmann. However, we take full responsibility for ensuring that waste generated within the facilities under our management is segregated according to our clients’ requirements and policies. We work closely with them to ensure best practices are followed. Our Lichfield Head Office, a rented premise, is where we directly manage energy, heating, water, lighting, and all waste generated, including waste electrical and electronic equipment. This office also houses personnel covering finance and administration functions. We are continually working to improve the sustainability of our own operations, even within shared facilities. Rudolph and Hellmann have consistently demonstrated our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Through our sustainable initiatives, Rudolph and Hellmann strive to foster a greener future, promote social responsibility, and ensure robust governance across their operations.
