R&H Logistics Solutions join North West Aerospace Alliance Could a radical rethink of logistics be the answer? P4H England 2024 is the country’s premier NHS procurement event, and it takes place at the NEC Birmingham on September 18th. The event is a chance for those in procurement roles within the NHS to meet with their colleagues and share best practice on what’s working in other parts of the country. The conference also provides direct contact with suppliers and facilitates conversations about other initiatives which could be applied to the NHS supply chain. “We’ve been in discussions with several NHS Trusts, specifically about how they could possibly re-imagine their local supply chain to align better with their operational needs. This conference will enable us to have access to a wider group of procurement specialists.” Sam Dunley New Business Solutions, Rudolph & Hellmann £35 billion spent annually by the NHS across over 80,000 suppliers P4H England 2024 offers our business development team extensive opportunities to connect with the healthcare procurement community and drive collaboration, maximising the full value of the NHS’s collective buying power. OMIL III Programme A day away from the pressures of work, a little fun and personal development were organised to further foster the team spirit and direction of the business. Facilitated on a RIB, (Rigid Inflatable Boat), the OMIL III Programme is designed to stimulate ‘leadership thinking’ through experiential coaching in foreign environments whilst undertaking challenging tasks. The sessions and programmes are designed to put the individual into a situation where they experience different leadership styles and analyse the impact it has upon them, both motivationally and educationally. Team building combined with the new business vision The team were given the new business vision and the outline plan recommended to achieve it in a presentation prior to the Team Building Day. The point of this was everybody in the team has a voice and is directly involved in the direction the business takes over the next 5 years. This away day was designed to help them constructively challenge the plan, to make it as good as it could possibly be before we push the button. Everyone in the team plays an important role in the delivery of the vision, they need to understand the part they play – and they need to be fully engaged. We have one plan, we are one team, and the plan needs to be right. This group know our business and what we are capable of more than anyone else. If there is a flaw, or we’re being over ambitious, I trust them to call it out and provide feedback on how we fix it. James Hamilton Chief Executive Officer Rudolph & Hellmann
