R&H Logistics Solutions join North West Aerospace Alliance

As a part of our strategic decision to enter the UK aerospace sector, we're pleased to announce we've joined the NWAA.

North West Aerospace Alliance

The North West aerospace cluster is among the largest in Europe, contributing over £7 billion to the UK economy and accounting for a quarter of the UK’s aerospace turnover.

“We are delighted to join the NWAA. The alliance provides us with the opportunity to network and understand the sector across a broad spectrum of businesses within the supply chain. From this, we hope to gain a deeper insight into the challenges faced by the aerospace sector and identify where we can possibly help.”

Over 150 member companies and a combined turnover exceeding £7 billion

Established in 1994, the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) represents and supports the aerospace industry across North West England. The NWAA represents around 25% of the UK aerospace industry, with over 150 member companies and a combined turnover exceeding £7 billion.

The NWAA has developed significant technical expertise, supporting aerospace companies through the delivery of over £20 million in supply chain improvement programs. These initiatives include the Aerospace Supply Chain Excellence (ASCE) program, the Growing Autonomous Mission Management Applications (GAMMA) project, and the National Aerospace Technology Programme (NATEP).

We recognise that those doing the job every day are in the best position to identify opportunities for improvement, which is why we are currently consulting on the introduction of an employee ideas scheme.
